About the studio

Kindred Corner Closets is a Zürich wardrobe studio. We plan corners that fit Altbau quirks and newer Seefeld shells alike.

Q: Why wardrobes only?
Closets touch daily routine more than feature walls. Focusing on reach-ins, walk-ins, kids bays, and entry nooks keeps our drawings and install crews sharp.
Q: Who do you design for?
Households in Zürich and nearby communes who need storage that respects existing parquet, radiators, and lift limits — not catalogue grids.
Q: How did the studio start?
From repeated requests to fix shallow bedroom cupboards near Bahnhofstrasse and Seefeld. The practice settled at Bahnhofstrasse 52 so clients can review samples without a workshop tour.
Q: What does “layers” mean on this site?
Every closet is carcass, fittings, then fronts. We present those layers so depth, use, and finish stay separate decisions instead of one opaque quote.
Q: Do you work outside the city?
Most weeks stay inside Zürich Kreise. Occasional projects in Winterthur or along the lake shore follow the same measure-first method with travel noted on the fee sheet.

Studio hours

Tuesday–Friday by appointment. Saturday morning slots for consults when a household cannot visit mid-week.
